A non‑refundable 50% deposit is required to reserve your place on my commission schedule. This deposit covers the time, planning, and materials involved in creating your custom watercolor portrait. After you review and approve the preliminary sketch, a second invoice for the remaining 50%—including applicable taxes, shipping, and any additional fees—will be issued. The balance must be paid before painting begins.
If preferred, you may choose to pay the full amount upfront. Once the sketch is approved, you will receive an invoice for the total cost, including taxes, shipping, and any additional fees. Full payment is required before your portrait enters the painting stage.
Each commission includes one preliminary sketch to ensure the artwork aligns with your vision. If additional revisions are requested after the initial review, a non‑refundable fee of $25 per revision will apply. Please note that multiple revisions may extend the overall project timeline.
Most portraits are completed within 8–10 business days after the deposit or full payment is received. Finished artwork may be delivered in person at a mutually agreed‑upon local business, or picked up at my next in‑person marketplace event.
If you would like your portrait shipped, I’m glad to accommodate. I will share all shipping costs with you ahead of time, and these must be paid before the artwork is mailed. Please keep in mind that I’m unable to issue refunds for shipping delays, damage in transit, or late deliveries.
